eth_newBlockFilter

Creates a filter in the node, to notify when a new block arrives. To check if the state has changed, call eth_getFilterChanges.

Valid for fifteen minutes

Filter IDs will be valid for up to fifteen minutes, and can polled by any connection using the same YOUR-API-KEY.

Parameters

None.

Returns

filter ID: A hexadecimal denoting the newly created filter ID.
