# Robinhood Chain

Robinhood Chain is an EVM-compatible Layer 2 built on Arbitrum technology, designed for tokenized real-world assets and onchain financial applications. Ether (ETH) is the native gas token.

Infura provides access to the [Robinhood Chain JSON-RPC API](/reference/robinhood-chain/json-rpc-methods/) method library. Methods include functionality for reading and writing data to the network, and executing smart contracts.
